Your first day of exploring Dubai must start from Deira, the oldest and most traditional district in Dubai. You will fall in love while discovering this part of the city. The three main souks attract the majority of the tourists for their brightness and traditional looks. The Gold Souk is the most famous, where you will find the most unique and unseen jewelry designs that might not be wearable in routine life. It would be best if you hire a tour guide when you visit the Dubai Museum; otherwise, a walk-through will also add to your knowledge of the history of Dubai.

From Deira, you must cross the river to reach Bur Dubai in a traditional boat called ‘abra.’ You will be welcomed by the House of Sheikh Saeed Al Maktoum, converted into a history museum. Here you must visit Old Souk to purchase souvenirs, grab some snacks from the cafes in Meena Bazaar, and enjoy a walk along with the replicated traditional houses in Al Seef Market

You will have a fun ride most uniquely, followed by a camel ride at the campsite and a traditional meal if you have opted for it.

BEST TIPS TO REMEMBER WHEN PLANNING TO VISIT DUBAI

If you desire to avoid lengthy lines to purchase tickets for some of the most wanting places, get the Dubai Explorer Pass. The pass is valid for 30 days from the day of activation. You can select the number of sites you intend to visit through the access before purchasing it. You do not need to specify which activities out of the 50 available options you need to buy passes for; only the number has to be mentioned.

Buy Ship-the-Line tickets to save your time and money. You can find these tickets for every top attraction in Dubai.

Always search for the best hotels close to your destinations well in advance and book them white they offer deals. You will find a lot of equally luxurious budget options.

Choose your month of travel wisely because the weather, international holidays, and universal festivals implicate accommodation and travel prices.

Hello All! My name is Abdullah Hussain and I was born and raised in Dubai, U.A.E. Throughout my career, I have shown a passion for creating online content. I started as a Flash animator and completed my IT diplomas and internships while I was studying. I have also been working part-time as a freelance webmaster and SEO specialist for the past 12 years, writing articles, creating & managing over 50 blogs, writing on Quora, and providing web hosting support. I have created hundreds of websites, and my skills include graphic design, animation, and video editing. Five years ago, I decided to travel the world, photographing the places I visited to record my experiences. I began in 2013 with my childhood friends and business partners, who were also passionate about cultural exchange, and who had some knowledge about content creation too. Together, we have traveled to many destinations and maintained a travel blog (www.tfortraveller.com) and YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/c/tfortraveller). Our aim is to share content that encourages others to plan trips to new destinations. Our goal is to travel to at least two new countries a year and record our journeys. We document the experiences and create content to capture our moments on the road, describe the food we try, and the encounters we have during our time abroad. The retrospective videos and articles we share are designed with our audience in mind, and we strive to make traveling more appealing by giving informative recounts.
