Itinerary for 72 Hours in Singapore

Day 1 in Singapore

Visit Sightseeing at Orchard Road, Explore the Gardens by the Bay, Merlion, and Night Safari (Zoo)

Orchard Road

Orchard Road is one of Singapore’s most thriving shopping districts, packed with mega-malls and high-end boutiques. You can find almost all shopping needs here, from luxury to affordable labels. So whether you are after branded bags, shoes, or accessories, Orchard Road has them all. Orchard Road is a stretch of road in Singapore’s central business district that is home to several shopping malls and hotels. These include The Concorde Hotel, Kra Hotel, Raffles Hotel (Orchard), Somerset Orchard Hotel, and various other hotels and serviced apartments such as The Forum and W Hotel. The shopping belt stretches from the junction of Orchard Road and Scotts Road in the east to pandan estate in the west; this area is lined with Cross Street.

Gardens by the Bay

The Gardens by the Bay is a popular attraction because of its unique island-like structures. Tourists can walk through and explore these vast modern greenhouses filled with exotic plants and flowers and several gardens that represent different climates. These botanical gardens in Singapore have many attractions: The Merlion is a giant statue that acts as the “mouth” of the bay; several smaller lagoons, fountains, and ponds are perfect for sightseeing and taking pictures.

Night Safari (Singapore Zoo)
Finally, the Night Safari is an experience that you won’t forget easily. These pandas, leopards, orangutans, tigers, red pandas, and other animals are nocturnal creatures- which means they are active during the night. So explore these three attractions in Singapore when you have less than three days!

Day 2 in Singapore

Visit Singapore’s cultural districts and awesome night-time scene, China Town, Little India, Arab Street,

Singapore is home to some of the world’s most culturally diverse communities. Each ethnic group has its district, making it easy to visit Chinatown, Little India, and Arab Street, all in one convenient place. These areas make up Singapore’s “sub-cities.” They’re vibrant and bustling with life, sights, and smells that will take you on a journey through the culture of the neighborhoods they represent. Here is an insider’s guide to these exciting places:

In any metropolis, the cultural melting pot offers a variety of flavors, and a peek into the different ways of life. These subcultures are encapsulated in the city’s many ‘hoods in Singapore. For example, there’s China Town for Chinese culture and eateries, Little India for the country’s largest concentration of Indians, and Arab Street for Muslims.

Day 3 in Singapore

Visit Marina Bay Sands, Sentosa Island, and Marina Bay Sands

Marina Bay Sands (MBS) is a resort, hotel, and casino. MBS is also one of the most expensive hotels in the world. With that said, it’s probably not something you’ll ever visit unless you are fortunate enough to have friends or family who live nearby or are willing to take you on a day trip from either your home country or Singapore. If you find yourself in Singapore and want to visit MBS, the two main ways to get there are by car or taxi. Both will cost you about SGD 20, and both will involve waiting in traffic for at least half an hour. However, taking a taxi means that you can hail another cab and tell the driver where you want to go next instead of finding parking when you return from your day trip. Visiting MBS is not cheap, so plan accordingly before going. Tickets cost SGD 25 per person if purchased online or SGD 30 per person at the ticket counter on the same day as your visit. This ticket gives visitors access to all three attractions: TheEND^, Hotel Mozaic, and V Bar.
The island of Sentosa, just south of the city center and accessible by a 10-minute monorail ride, offers visitors a whole different world. The 35-acre Sentosa Island is home to multiple attractions and activities. Visitors can enjoy sandy beaches, excellent restaurants, hidden coves, lush gardens, boutique hotels, and even a zoo at Sentosa. However, the main attraction on this small island is the Marina Bay Sands integrated resort.

Hello All! My name is Abdullah Hussain and I was born and raised in Dubai, U.A.E. Throughout my career, I have shown a passion for creating online content. I started as a Flash animator and completed my IT diplomas and internships while I was studying. I have also been working part-time as a freelance webmaster and SEO specialist for the past 12 years, writing articles, creating & managing over 50 blogs, writing on Quora, and providing web hosting support. I have created hundreds of websites, and my skills include graphic design, animation, and video editing. Five years ago, I decided to travel the world, photographing the places I visited to record my experiences. I began in 2013 with my childhood friends and business partners, who were also passionate about cultural exchange, and who had some knowledge about content creation too. Together, we have traveled to many destinations and maintained a travel blog (www.tfortraveller.com) and YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/c/tfortraveller). Our aim is to share content that encourages others to plan trips to new destinations. Our goal is to travel to at least two new countries a year and record our journeys. We document the experiences and create content to capture our moments on the road, describe the food we try, and the encounters we have during our time abroad. The retrospective videos and articles we share are designed with our audience in mind, and we strive to make traveling more appealing by giving informative recounts.
